David Adjaye

Biography

David Adjaye is a Ghanaian-British architect of international renown. He founded Adjaye Associates in 2000, with offices in Accra, London, and New York. His most notable work is the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, inaugurated in Washington DC in 2016. He has received numerous honors, including a knighthood (2017), the RIBA Royal Gold Medal (2021), the World Economic Forum's Crystal Award (2021), and admission
